Cancellation conditions and refunds

Note for MVP Users

This cancellation policy applies when payment processing is enabled. Currently, bookings are free to cancel at any time before the host confirms. No fees apply.

Introduction

Each Host selects their cancellation policy from three options when creating their Listing. The applicable policy is displayed on each Listing before booking. Please carefully review the cancellation policy before confirming your booking.

Flexible Policy

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before start: Full refund (100%)
  • Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before start: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before start: No refund

Moderate Policy

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before start: Full refund (100%)
  • Cancellation between 15 and 30 days before start: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 15 days before start: No refund

Strict Policy

  • Cancellation more than 60 days before start: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 60 days before start: No refund

Host Cancellation

  • Financial penalty: 20% of the booking amount may be retained.
  • The cancelled booking dates may be blocked on the Host's calendar.
  • Repeated cancellations negatively impact the Listing's ranking and visibility.
  • Frequent cancellations may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.

Force Majeure

Force majeure is an unforeseeable, irresistible, and external event making it impossible to perform the booking.

Examples: natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, fires, floods.

In duly justified force majeure cases, a full refund without penalty may be granted to both parties.
