Review Your Booking
Go through your booking confirmation carefully. Check the dates, address, access method, house rules, and the list of included amenities. Compare it with what you discussed with the host to make sure everything is aligned.

Contact Your Host
Reach out to your host a few days before your arrival. Confirm the key handover time and method, ask about parking or delivery access, and raise any last-minute questions about the space or the neighbourhood.

Prepare Your Essentials
Pack everything you will need: signage, display materials, products, cleaning supplies, and personal items. Check the listing carefully to see what the space provides and what you need to bring yourself.
Create a packing checklist a week in advance — it is easy to forget small but important items like extension cords or price tags.
Arrive and Check In
Arrive at the time agreed with your host. Collect the keys or access code, and do a full walkthrough of the space. Take photos of the current condition and note any pre-existing issues to avoid disputes later.
Take timestamped photos of every room as soon as you arrive — this protects both you and the host.
Settle In and Set Up
Unpack your materials, arrange your display, test the equipment (lights, Wi-Fi, electrical outlets), and make the space your own. Once everything is ready, you are all set to welcome your first visitors!
Do a quick test run as if you were a customer walking in — first impressions matter.
